Got them deleted, some IP's banned, and Captcha settings changed. Hopefully that'll help.

Sadly, this seems to be common to most, if not all, Stepmania sites.

And I'm referring both to the traffic and the spambots.

Maybe there's some small, simple tournament stuff we can do in the off season to keep the site moving... Anyone have ideas?

Monthly community packs sounds like a cool idea. It will keep some fresh interest in stepmania. Maybe we can do atheme for each month. Also, the spam bots are back.

Personally I don't like themes but I'm not against it if that means more sims.
