Oh, ok. I get it. My mistake.

While obviously it's ideal that every chart is judged 100% fairly, if the judge has difficulty playing it, that raises the question of how they're supposed to give it a "correct" score.

I suppose we just need really skilled players to judge, in order to minimize the problem.

May I ask this? Are the doubles charts are to be rated in the Steps criterion? Or it'll count as extras (or something)?

Double charts will not be judged. They are viewed as extra stuff added in the file.

This is amazing. I never expected to see so many old faces. How many contests have you guys entered in the past, out of curiosity?

My contest history:

-Redraw Lots in TM5
-Speed Japan in Re-TM
-Love Somebody for Life in TM6 (lol)
-POP in OSC4
-Inspiration in OSC5
This special title makes me look cool.

I could have sworn there was a whole topic going about that, but I can't seem to find it. :X

Not that you really want mine, but it's:

Hit in the USA - TM6
Kiss Me - OSC5 ITG
One Heart - OSC5 DDR

I also entered this one other contest, the TGL Simfile Tourney, but that doesn't really count for much.

Mine are:

Cheesemix 1 (Turbo Song)
Spooky Mix (Halloween Theme Techno Mix)
Cheesemix 3 (Dentist)
80's Mix (Guyana)
Rock Mix (Sting of the Bumblebee)
Rock Mix (Vacuum Cleaner Hoses)
90's Mix (Forgot About Dre)

And I've never placed well in any competition, although Guyana tied for 1st place for public votes in 80's Mix which was quite shocking, and Dentist and Turbo Song also had some strong support.

Mine are:

OSC BoNG (Metal Queen)
Cheesemix 4 (two anonymous entries)

OSC BoNG made it to the finals mostly because of extras, as for CM4, its still on-going, so can't say much about that. I actually have more experience judging contests than entering them, which probably might account to something here.

Mine are:

Dance Dance (OSC 4 ITG Division)
DoLL (OSC 4 DDR Division)
Be Princess (OSC 5 ITG Division)
Last Regrets Xmas Dance Mix (OSC 5 DDR Division)

Look back, my OSC 4 entries were just average, with neither of my entries making it to the next round. My OSC 5 entries were a little a better with Be Princess making it to the solo round and Last Regrets being just one place shy of making it to the solo round.
I'm hoping to once again do better than my last few simfiles and so far, my entry for this tournament seems better by a longshot.

Just wanted to let you know that my sister LOVES Be Princess. The heavy chart is probably the hardest thing she can pad. I'm not sure she finishes it every time, though.

Your sister has a good taste in simfiles :P

But seriously, I bet Be Princess probably gets on your nerves after a while. My friends always complain and then try make me fail whenever I choose that song.

Is a readme file required to be present or is it optional?

It wasn't specifically required (since it's anonymous). Although, I'd suggest you say something about your file because the judges will most likely read it once to see if there was any special notes about the file or reasons why you did x-step-pattern here...

It would be nicer if you had a simple readme, but I'm not going to DQ you for it... this time.
