Oh, you uploaded this pretty quick! 32 files isn't bad either. I was expecting high 20's or lower 30's, so I'm glad it was my other prediction.

I'll download this in a bit.

Angelier's .mp3 is corrupt, which is really a shame since it looks like it has a really cool BG animation for it.

I'm assuming it was just the fault of zipping the pack up, which very rarely ever happens, so hopefully you can release the uncorrupted .mp3 file or if D A N T . wants to do that by himself, I guess it doesn't matter.

You might want to re-download, as I've had no problems with Angelier's mp3 or any other files so far.

Alright, I was beginning to think it was just me. Glad that problem's solved.

The one in the pack didn't have any video in it, corrupted or otherwise. Weird...

That completely stalls SM4 Alpha 4.

Great.

The zip Akira originally sent me had the AVI, but corrupted. Please add download the video and add it into the folder.

I have never encountered a lift in a simfile before this competition.

I can see exactly why.

I just played each song once (Expert only), quick comments/initial thoughts:

Anjelier - Loved the song, but I wish the author would have spent more time synching the song instead of those silly animations.

Back 2 Back - not bad but nothing stood out.

Barbie Girl - Quite an original song choice /sarcasm. It was fun, but who hasn't heard this a million times before, it's a no-brainer for a ddr game. Not bad, but very unoriginal.

Battle Funkastic - Kinda bland, need to play it again

Come Back To Me (Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Club Remix) - Good stuff here.

Kachoufuusetsu - Being a IIDX player myself, I found the ending to be extremely abrupt, but someone who hasn't heard the song before probably will not miss the real ending, so it's ok. Steps were pretty decent.

Kokoro no Tamago - Need to play it again, but I don't remember NOT liking it, so take it as a good thing.

Like This - Wow, I know almost every song mixed here, haha. I found this to be rather pointless, I can't see myself listening actively to this and even less thinking about making steps for it. =/

Lost - I liked it, but I need to play it again.

Lunatic Eyes (Invisible Full Moon) - I was starting to like it and then it ended in an ugly all-stepped fade out. =/

MY BOY - Song was cool, but jeez, how many japanese pop/rock acts do the world needs? Haha just kidding, I liked it.

RELEASE ME - It was ok, need to play it more.

S.P.A.M. - Good for a quick laugh, but a failure as a simfile.

Son of Sun - Pretty good.

Super Driver - Not a fan of anime simfiles, but this was above average.

You Can't Beat Airman - Not bad, need to play again.

I will play more during the week so I can pick my real favorites, and if anyone wants more in depth feedback, I can provide it. Some people here obviously know how to make "correct" simfiles, but they forget about making it stand out giving it no-brainer steps. Making simfiles isn't about hearing a song and saying "oh, this sounds like it could be in DDR!" and giving it a generic 7-foot chart and that's it. Either take more risks with the songs you choose or do more interesting things with your steps. The only song that did that for me here was Anjelier but the author needs to give it better synching.

Just dropping a little nudge to try the couples steps to Back 2 Back if you can swing it.

I'll be trying something new later tonight: a video public review of Standard and Heavy.
A crossbeats REV. stream? On Twitch? It's more likely than you think!
