About graphics

since the contest is over, I was just wondering what software does everyone use for creating backgrounds and
banners. Gimp can only do so much for me, and I need to learn to make better graphics in the future.

I use photo impact. It's a pretty good program, once you learn to use it and it's especially good for text.

Adobe Photoshop is used by most experienced authors, and is probably the easiest software to learn. PhotoImpact more advanced, but it's a lot easier to buy and is quite nice if you learn to use it skillfully.

Adobe Flash and Photoshop CS3

For 3D renders, I use Swift 3D and Metasequoia
