Seems like there's a lot of joke files here. I haven't played them all yet but i-revolution seems like the best file in this set.

I only saw one intentional joke file out of the three brackets.

The E-ROTIC song freezes up for me, Number One is terribly offsync, and to the stepchart maker, if you had time to put a message in mines you should've had time to finish the challenge chart, or you shouldn't have included it in the final file.

The E-Rotic song ALMOST crashed my SM, but after it froze for awhile it kicked back into gear.

Oh. :( Yeah, that would be the file out of any to crash someone's box. It's a fun file though (when it doesn't crash).

Edo no Temari Uta II - C-ute

the video in the background seemed to lag the step's FPS at certain points

mighta just been an illusion with the background though, but during certain times it seemed to scroll kinda choppy (at 3x speed) while most the time it was totally fine

The video isn't the proper dimensions. Videos should be 320 x 240, this -appears- to be 640 x 480.

There was another file in Bracket 2 that had the same lagging/FPS issue, don't remember what it was called though. I'm assuming the video is the issue there as well.

The preview for Max don't have sex etc. isn't even in the song... so I guess it would be the intentional joke file?

And Romance in the Club is the only song I've ever played that makes my SM lag extremely horribly for the entire song.

And why is the mp3 for Fourth Joyride 8 minutes long?

I'm guessing when the author cut it, the software didn't update the tag properly. It's not actually 8 minutes, but 1:48.

Instructions for people having FPS problems:

1) Download this 320x240 version: http://www.sendspace.com/file/4hgp2e

2) Replace video with the one you just downloaded

(Optional)
3) Buy a new computer, gosh

Actually, the preview music is in the song. The .mp3 runs for 14 seconds without any music, but then whoever made the cut added the preview sample music to the very end of the song so that Stepmania wouldn't run the steps to that particular part of the song. Thus, all you are actually playing in Stepmania is the part of the .mp3 that says MAX MAX MAX SAX MAX MAX MAX FAX MAX MAX SEX MAX FAX SAX SEX MAX.

I know, I was just saying, that makes it obviously a joke.

Make fun of the people playing your file with a video that doesn't have the proper dimensions, way to go.

I think people are exaggerating the framerate issue with Edo. If my POS computer can run it without too much trouble, then I'm sure everyone else's can as well.

My computer totally froze up on Max, though. In retrospect, I think it was trying to give me a warning... :P

Man, I so wanted to get a review up for this bracket before I went to bed, but with night classes, I couldn't pull it off, even though I spend about 6 hours on the process just so far. I still eight more songs to finish grading...

I like some of the stuff I'm seeing so far, though! (Emphasis on "some," hehe. )
