I think the judges made the right choices here (although I think Propane Nightmares could have gone 1st). I've gotta say there was a lot more great stuff in this one than in Spring Break Mix, and the good stuff here was some of the best stuff I've seen in a while. I think the place most people go wrong in this competition is song selection--I'm sorry but as much as I love Punk Rock Princess and Maneater, they will just NEVER make great simfiles.

Song choice shouldn't be a problem unless it drastically affects the steps, though.

Picking songs that aren't danceable greatly affects their steps.

I'm not saying anything regarding the files mentioned, but just as a general rule.

Just as a final thought for me, I would have to say that my chart was probably the most divisive one in the contest. I was amused to see that it had both really big fans and really huge decriers. It made for a bad score overall (averaging out scores and all that), but some amusing reviews.

I don't think that I got anything out of this contest, really, but it was entertaining to see what kinds of things people came up with. Best of luck to the people that are still in it, and I hope everyone else enjoyed themselves!

I was pretty disappointed overall. Lots of drama, loljudges, I didn't get time to do public reviews for brackets 2 and 3, and my file sucked monkey balls. Not sure if it's even fixable, I might not bother. I crapped it out at basically the last second, and it shows. I guess it just proves that you only get out of what you put into something.

On the plus side, there was a lot of good stuff in all three brackets.

Congratulations to everyone who entered, and good luck to the finalists!

I pointed out a very obvious flaw in it, and the author admitted that it could be "fixed", which means that it's indeed broken and not on par with non-broken songs that didn't made it like WOW, Liar Game or Superstar.

(In a little late for this)

Woah, the Bracket 3 results are weeeeird! I was not expecting two of those three files to be up there. Brackets 1 & 2 are pretty fair, though.

Good lucks to you Wildcard peoples!

EDIT: Speaking of Wildcard, how many files are we allowed to vote for for each Bracket?

i think you can vote for any 5 files, which bracket they come from is irrelevant
