BEST-mix.net - DDR Simfile Tournament

Hello,

I am new to DDR and simfiles, and I am interested in joining your wonderful community. But I have a few questions. I realize that I can do a simple Google search to find answers to my questions, but I'd rather have a personalized answer from you.

What are some resources available to me? Where do most (pad) simfile makers hang out and discuss things? Where/how can I play their work, and how can I share mine so that people can enjoy them and give feedback? What's the state of the simfile community 11 years after DDR was first introduced and some 9 and 8 after DWI and Stepmania were first released?

Since I'm sure that is what he was looking for. In fact that is even what I tried but I really can't think of how to put it.

Probably just wanting to know what is up with the people that simfile, such as places they hang out at, how or why they share the files the way they do, etc.
