Re: RULES and ENTRY DEADLINE - NOW April 24th ***

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, ONE MORE WEEK OFFICIAL EXTENSION!

Files due at the end of the day on the 24th. Anyone who submitted already can upload revised or edited versions of their files until the final deadline.

BTW, on the 24th, files are due by Midnight (I'm not picky) the Saturday; not Friday night.

Greatly appreciative of the extra week... I could get done today but it would be a bit of a rush.

The rules talk about "hardest non-Expert chart". Does that include edits? Historically, for these competitions I've used edits for unjudged charts (keyboard, ITG flavor in the DDR division, etc.)
A crossbeats REV. stream? On Twitch? It's more likely than you think!

Edits will not be judged at all. The two hardest will refer to regular difficulties. :D

I've sent a message to everyone with an issue with their file.
If you did not receive a PM or discord message, your file is either a-ok or I've missed something. Most likely the former though. 8)

/Shakes off more dust.

SO, for your own entry's bracket, you will submit feedback EXCLUDING your own file.

Here is the judging from B1 of BEST-mix 3: http://best-mix.net/BM3/b1/BEST-mix%203.htm
LOOK AT THE BOTTOM HALF.

The way the Public Review scores are calculated, I take the AVERAGE of the scores submitted. If you entered the bracket and reviewed it, your own review has no effect on your file; only everyone else's. This has been the way for previous BEST-mixes, and the top half of the files will move on so there's a good chance that the "best" files that should win move on will move on without any trouble.

PS: FOR THE ANONYMOUS BRACKET, IF YOU ENTERED IT, YOU WILL PM ME YOUR REVIEW, AND I WILL ANONYMOUSLY POST IT AS "Person who entered <Anonymous File Here>"

UPDATE AGAIN.
The original scoring rules didn't actually make sense/work the way I had written them. With the current standings, OOPS! was 10th place... with the revision below it's at 1st place (since it has a perfect score, it was easy to validate this).

HERE IS THE REVISED VERSION:
Average of Complete Reviews
+ Average of Partial Reviews
+ Average of Approval Votes
= Final score for Round 1.

Edit5: Pushed all scoring back 1 week, to give 2 weeks for PR for each bracket, and added one more week to the schedule.
