Was anyone else hoping 24/7 would be a remix of this? (Good file though).

Cold noodles is a joke, argghh.. Might as well give this a 0.

EDIT: Didn't realized there was anything on that file based on the meter. Gah, how I've been so fooled easily.

It has been brought up to my attention that "The "Sugar Before Bedtime" Polka" was entered in Anything Goes over at DDREvolved. This was not a tournament, but a community pack.

x0_000 has only been here since BM1.5, and in the rules that I have posted for the last three, the rules DO state "no songs from tournaments or previous BEST-mixes" but they DO NOT state clearly that the file must be *new* and unreleased before this tournament.

As a result, the file will not be DQ'ed due to lack of clarity on this issue due to my part.

For the future: ALL entered files must be completely new.

I will hopefully remember to re-add this into the rules for next BM.

lol I didn't know Danny would ever make music of that sort, and I'm glad I didn't step a remix of that song as well.

And lol more Utada.

Downloading now and also weird that x0_000 would submit a file that he's already released. Even if that wasn't stated in the rules, it's really not a smart thing to do since people who have already played the file would just see it as being uncreative.

I'm gonna try to have the video reviews up by tomorrow morning, because I have a business trip Wed-Fri.

EDIT: Videos done. Overall, a pretty good set, except for one file that thinks it's still 2006. Full scores will probably have to wait until Saturday - BLue, is that OK?

I have a question regarding public reviews. For the late entries, should we also deduct two points, just like the judged reviews?

I add the PR scores in Sunday morning/afternoon, so Saturday is just fine.

No, the late penalty is taken out of the final score average. Do not penalize the late entries again.

I have to give mad props for mintessence. I figured this was a joke file but I was easily caught off guard.

And fails when brought into a theme with step statistics and flash-to-the-BPM elements.

lol, but still a nice effort?

I'm actually pretty disappointed the actual song wasn't stepped, because the sample start sounds exceptionally lovely and would be the perfect song for a DDR-styled simfile. Oh well.

Let's burn the guy at the stake, shall we?

I just did my first run thorough every expert chart in the pack and I'm very impressed! Every file (except THAT one) had a very solid, above-average stepchart, nice job everyone! Mad props to whoever qualifies from this bracket, great files WILL be left out  . I'll be playing more tomorrow and hopefully I can make a quick round of comments and later in the week another slightly more in-depth round of comments, similar to what I did with bracket one. HOWEVER, given the circumstances of so many good quality files here, I'm very tempted to make an "official" set of public reviews, I definitely don't want my favorites out without having given them my support!
