Geez guys you are going to give me a lot to review.

...well, not really, but it'll seem like it to me to try and review these.

There better be good songs. From the sounds of it there are a few good ones, so it isn't all bad. =\

try cutting the song to ddr length next time; maybe i'll play it. HTTP://WWW.GOLDWAVE.COM

Wow, that was harsh. The song is at least within the length boundaries according to the rules.

That's not harsh, that's just ignorance.

Urgh. I've only scratched the surface with my reviews and I have only managed to luck out with two songs being good enough to pass a 7 rating. Then again, the main reason is because of the other difficulties, which cause others to look bad (see: Cafe Cafe).

Really, I've got a lot of work to do with these reviews. This is going to get tricky...

Soooo... who else has "problems" with the lyrics to S.U.K.I (most don't appear, or appear way too late even though the file appears to be okay)?

I think we need to get judges who aren't complete idiots for the next tournament. There should be some kind of standardized test to take.

"Double stepping" is not a reason to look down on a file.

I bet you people don't know what I'm talking about because you don't play DDR. You play stepmania and in the groove. This is why you are not fit to judge a tournament for a DDR Simulator.

EDIT!
ranatalus needs to redo his grading scales for public vote to fit the format of 4 points reserved for presentation and 6 for steps. Some songs could have a better score because the author actually took time to make their file beautiful in every way possible. Think of it kind of like dining at a fancy restaurant. The atmosphere makes the experience that much better.

^ I agree. Some of my favorite charts from DDR have double stepping. It makes the chart less typical, and double stepping is actually more fun if placed properly and appropriately.

Exactly. An example of poorly placed double stepping is Euphoria Expert. Now THAT is something to bitch about.

I don't mind double-stepping so long as it doesn't ruin the chart's flow or over-intensify the steps. From what I've played so far in the first pack, there are some good and bad examples of this idea (of which I won't directly point out, but may be assumed).

If it weren't for the fact that we have to remain anonymous, I would have some very harsh words for most of the reviewers right now.

Seconded. Ugh.

Edit: Maybe we can PM BlueSS with questions/comments for reviewers, and he can post them?

Thirded. I'm just going to harangue people after it's over, myself.
