Speaking of the rules, will anonymity still be required? If so, it would be wise to add a note about that in the first post so new entrants won't screw themselves by discussing their entries, simply because they hadn't seen the initial rules list.

YES. Anonymity is still required. Don't discuss your entry, or tell people what file you're doing. If word gets back to anyone here, you're DQ'ed from the contest. If the deadline hasn't hit yet, you have however much time is remaining to make a new file.
And it's still there in the first post.
