Entry: wish / DJ Yoshitaka feat. Ƃ Presentation - 20 / 20 After playing a bunch of boss songs, this is quite a relief. Yes, that was an extraneous comment, but your file certainly felt very inviting, especially after playing 11-footers. The graphics are nice and relaxing, further accented by that calming video from IIDX13DD. It was very well-presented over-all in this sense, and including a Beginner chart further increased its appeal for low-level players (making this an excellent training song... much better than the only DDR song I could think of with similar difficulties... Remember You!) Steps (no Oni) Light Chart - 5 / 5 This must have been very difficult to do, especially when considering that you had to balance your patterns well enough to make it easy, but not too controlled such that this would be exactly like the Beginner chart. That said, this was a very well-made 1-footer Light chart that very much stayed true to the relaxed, cutesy mood of the song. Along with detached 4th-notes that showed the calm mood of the song, you used some "bouncy" patterns that highlighted some of the other aspects of the song (the more "aggressive" ones), which all worked very well, and were generally well-executed (without any motion or orientation problems). As a basic chart, it worked well, but its further accented by simple turns that spice it up a little bit, and thus, ended up being an excellent chart for learning DDR. Standard Chart - 5 / 10 I could've sworn that this chart was just a slightly modified version of Light-- not exactly the most creative of ideas, especially since I didn't really feel any difference in difficulty here-- it still felt like a Light chart in almost every way. Although you used more complex patterns this time around, they didn't really add much to the basic patterns you used in Light, and ended up boring in that context. In addition, you should remove those freeze arrows-- they felt highly extraneous, and just didn't go very well with the rest of the steps. Although it is quite sound technically, these issues can still very much affect how the chart fares here. Disappointing, to say the least. You could've done so much more. Heavy Chart - 15 / 15 A huge step up from the Standard chart, with a lot of new patterns being introduced into the song-- both 8th-note and 16th-note patterns, as well as a fairly complicated freeze pattern. As with the other charts, it still works as an excellent trainer, enabling one to learn these more complex patterns in a fairly controlled environment that gives room for error. The patterns themselves worked very well with the song, and with each other, making for a nice, relaxing experience that'll still keep one quite interested. Motions and orientations were quite well-balanced, and there weren't any issues in those departments. Over-all, an excellent chart. One of the very few 5-footer Heavy charts that I've ever loved-- nice job.
