Entry: Nettaiya / Rip Slyme Presentation - 20 / 20 It's a bit bare in extras, but what you did have was very solid-- the graphics looked excellent, and seemed to fit the laid-back mood of the song quite well. The background can be quite distracting for the desperate other-seekers out there, but it worked out quite well. The samplestart was quite inviting as well-- good work. There's also a Beginner chart here, and it was fairly sufficient as a Beginner chart-- it may be quite easy, but it was nice and simple nonetheless, and would provide a nice, relaxing moment for beginners. Steps (no Oni) Light Chart - 3 / 5 A moderately-intense Light chart for a fairly laid-back song. Well, it worked out pretty well, controlling the patterns so that they have a good deal of motion, while not going overboard. The patterns are smooth-flowing, and fairly well-balanced, but they lose points for being really repetitive-- most of them are detached 4th-notes and 4th-note triplets, which go on for pretty much the whole song. You can still keep the feel you have for the steps even if you had slightly denser patterns-- vary your runs a bit-- they'd work out quite well. You don't need to hold back on the steps too much. Standard Chart - 10 / 10 Okay, this chart's more in the right direction-- like the Light chart, it fit the nature of the song quite well, though this time it isn't as horribly repetitive as Light-- you decided to go berserk, using a nice set of patterns that accentuated the energy of the song, without going overboard. The steps are nice and well-balanced over-all, a bunch of 4th-note and 8th-note patterns accented with jumps that felt just right. Good job. Heavy Chart - 12 / 15 The jumps here are a bit too much, dude. They're good in accentuating some of the lyrics here, but placing them in some of the quieter parts (e.g. bars 9 and 59) is a bit too much-- they didn't really deserve stops of this kind-- they're quite calm and relaxed, and served to get the player ready for the real meat of the song (or in the case of bar 59, a "step fade-out"). Otherwise, the steps flowed nicely, and were well-balanced, although there are a few doublesteps... that fit the song (given the mood of the song-- it can be quite laidback, and is quite lenient to these things). Just calm down on the jumps.
