Entry: Inferno / Caldeira feat. Kanako Hoshino Presentation - 20 / 20 Stylish presentation, with an excellent combination of still graphics and videos that certainly managed to create a nice mood for the simfile, matching the song very well. Allow me to get a goblet of wine, as it managed to get me in the mood for it. Excellent work. There's also a bonus Beginner chart here... which certainly worked out quite well, and showed that this simfile will be a good play for players of all levels. Steps (no Oni) Light Chart - 5 / 5 Very well-executed, managing to go very well with the calm, stylish feel of the song, with patterns that flowed very well all throughout the song. It's very simple, but it worked out well. Excellent work-- this chart would very well serve as an excellent trainer for basic DDR. Standard Chart - 9.5 / 10 A nice, well-balanced mix of 4th-note and 8th-note patterns that flowed very smoothly over-all. I liked how you used the steps to match the moods in the song here-- they certainly accented the feelings in the song, particularly where Kanako heats towards the middle of the song. The only real problem here is that this chart is not a 4-footer chart-- it's misrated, just so you know... more of a 5 due to the technique required. Heavy Chart - 13 / 15 A high-technique chart that matches its difficult pattern varieties with a fairly relaxed step density that certainly warranted the step difficulty. There were doublesteps here, but they aren't a problem at all-- in fact, they accented the style of the song incredibly well, especially in the parts leading up to the multi-jump patterns. You might want to loosen up on the jumps in the first parts, they seemed unnecessary, and didn't go well when considering how they led to the patterns in the later parts of the song. Otherwise, it worked out quite well.
