Entry: Cafe Cafe / Vivian Presentation - 9 / 20 Okay, the graphics were quite refined and can certainly give one an idea as to what to song is all about. There's a bgvid script here, but strangely enough, you didn't provide any videos to use the script on-- a few extra MB in your file won't kill you, right? Include them at the very least-- not everybody has all the videos. You included Doubles steps as well, but playing them, they really were quite a disappointment-- they felt very autogenned, and didn't have a decent flow to them, with them having "twister syndrome" and all. In addition, they still felt more like Singles charts due to the step elements used. Refine these Doubles charts, or just delete them. They'll certainly disappoint Doubles players. (Which will hurt your score A LOT) Steps (no Oni) Light Chart - 5 / 5 Although its somewhat step-dense for a Light chart, it isn't really a problem given its step difficulty (5-footer) and the way the steps were used. The chart was certainly very fun to play, with nice steps that reminded me of some of my favorite DDR 3rd Mix charts (which are the best Konami-made charts I've ever played, mind you), such as Boom Boom Dollar (the repetitive arrows worked quite well here, especially in building up the "tension"), whilst keeping true to the energetic nature of the song (the song is slightly streamy, so your patterns worked well). It can be quite a handful for low-level players, but it'll work to teach them quickly, as there are a good deal of basic patterns here that can certainly get them to a decent DDR-playing level. I also liked how you still managed to balance the steps throughout the chart, particularly the gaps with the jumps that weren't too "heavy", and certainly led to a fiery climax in the end. Very well-made and fun to play, great job. Standard Chart - 10 / 10 Still stayed true to the song, while improving on the Light chart even further, with a more diverse set of patterns (with 8th-note patterns and more jumps added to the mix) that capitalized on the energy of the song. The "possible" full-turns and crossovers added a nice layer of technique to the chart, which was probably one of the reasons that this chart was so fun to play-- there's a lot to do here, with a fairly streamy chart being mixed with a lot of pattern variations that kept it fresh throughout the song. That said, the chart was a well-selected set of patterns that were very well oriented throughout the song, improved further by a nice layer of technique that'll keep one interested. Heavy Chart - 12.5 / 15 For the most part, improved on the Light and Standard charts with more energetic patterns that'll keep one interested. The patterns can be pretty tricky to play, with some step patterns that require either doublesteps or difficult turns, giving the chart an even greater layer of technique. The only thing that seems to go against the chart was the use of gallops here-- they seemed to be very extraneous, and didn't go very well with the rest of the chart. Otherwise, this was a well-planned chart with a lot of technique involved, very creatively done and very playable, without any real issues in motion and orientation.
