Entry: All the People in the World / Safri Duo + Clark Anderson Presentation - 19 / 20 Oh wow... great package you have here. This simfile was really inviting-- a great welcome mat in the form a well-edited and well-selected samplestart and a nice, stylish banner that fit the various moods of the song (we have a "diversification" of moods, so to speak... but the song was energetic, and this banner shows). In addition, the background and the bgvideo added more to the way this file ended up, fully accomplishing a nice, inviting environment... which was very well-done all throughout. It's also nice that you went out of your way and made a Singles Beginner chart (stock beginner, but it works really well) and a full set of Doubles, and for once (when checking a lot of other entries)... the Doubles charts were quite good-- they were still pretty step-dense for Doubles, but the technique is there-- they still felt like Doubles anyway, although the Doubles Heavy chart was rightist-- it needs some tweaking, but you did manage to make a very solid package here-- lots of extras that were also well-made. Steps (no Oni) Light Chart - 5 / 5 Excellent work-- there isn't really much to say here, as the chart was very well-made-- the various parts of the song had steps that certainly reflected the various moods-- from the relaxed steps of the slower part, to the high energy motions of the faster part, which were pretty well-integrated-- you stuck to a common formula for all the steps here, despite the changes in speed (and especially some of the song elements themselves), and it worked well. The steps were well-organized and well-balanced in all aspects. Nice job. Best part-- the use of freezes in the last part. Normally, I don't like a section in a chart full of freezes, but the way they were used here-- as a means of "moving along" as the percussion drops out of the last part, was a good choice. Standard Chart - 10 / 10 Uhh... honestly, I'm out of words. This chart is a lot like the Light chart in that everything just fell into place, and while this chart is more complex, we still see how you controlled the patterns such that they'd fall into place all the right moments, and that's a great thing indeed. It's also nice how you made smooth transitions in the steps, as they followed different elements of the song throughout the chart, so... no issues here, seriously! Heavy Chart - 13.5 / 15 I find it strange how this chart lost the nice, gradual transitions of the easier charts, as they added much to the character of the charts (and of course, the song). The slower part of the song was what suffered here-- although there was still a gradual transition, the use of some of the patterns there didn't quite work out well, considering their part in the song-- yes, I'm talking about the jumps. They're a bit excessive for that part, and didn't seem to have a place in the song considering the rest of the patterns. It's strange how they were completely dropped in favor of patterns similar to some patterns in the faster part of the chart. That said, this is the only real issue in this chart. Needs tweaking, but it's definitely there.
